This project involved the design and approval of a swimming pool, poolhouse, and detached garage on an established acreage property, transforming the estate into a purpose-built entertainer’s retreat with show car garage. Ryan was originally involved with the home during his time working with an acreage home builder and was later engaged with Santolo Designs to progress the next stage of the estate for the same clients. The poolhouse delivers approximately 250 square metres of luxury accommodation, designed around a central swimming pool and capable of hosting large-scale events and gatherings. A key planning challenge was achieving approval despite the existing dwelling and shed already exceeding the maximum permissible site coverage, requiring a considered and strategic approval approach. The project was constructed by Cook Constructions, with interiors by Alicia Xiberras Interiors, landscape design by Aesthetic Landscape Designs, and photography by Life in Still. The project was recognised as a 2025 Finalist for Outdoor Project of the Year at the HIA NSW Housing, Kitchen and Bathroom Awards.
