Heart Kew is a single storey split-level home custom designed to respond to an irregular funnel-shaped site, featuring a wide street frontage that tapers significantly toward the rear boundary. The planning strategy carefully balanced proportion, circulation, and setbacks to achieve a functional family layout while maintaining a timeless streetscape presence. A generous 2.5 car garage anchors the frontage, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms arranged across subtle level changes to suit the geometry of the block. Due to the wide frontage and site configuration, the development was not eligible for the Complying Development pathway and was successfully approved via a Development Application and Construction Certificate through Camden Council.
